Plano Convex Lenses feature one flat (plano) surface and one convex spherical surface, ideal for focusing parallel light to a single point or collimating a point source into a parallel beam. Their asymmetric design minimizes spherical aberration when used with the convex side facing the collimated light source, making them the most versatile lens type for imaging, laser, and industrial optical systems.
