Molded Aspheric Lenses – High Precision, Cost-Effective Optical Components

 

Description:

Molded Aspheric Lenses are manufactured using precision glass or polymer molding technology, which eliminates spherical aberration and simplifies optical system design by replacing multiple spherical lenses with a single aspheric element. They offer excellent performance at a lower cost compared to polished aspheric lenses, making them ideal for high-volume applications.

Optical glass (D-ZK3, BK7, L-BAL35, etc.)

Custom glass materials available

Diameter: 2mm – 50mm

Aspheric departure: Customizable (up to several hundred microns)

Surface Quality: 60/40, 40/20

Surface Accuracy: λ/4 @ 633nm, λ/10 @ 633nm (precision molded)

Coating Options:

VIS AR coating (400–700nm)

BBAR coating (400–1100nm)

NIR AR coating (700–1700nm)
