Description

Trapezoid Prisms – Beam Shift & Image Translation

Detailed Description:

Trapezoid Prisms (Rhomboid Prisms) are parallelogram-shaped prisms that laterally shift the optical path without changing the direction of light propagation. They are used to displace a beam or translate an image in interferometers, alignment systems, and optical delay lines.

Key Specifications:

Materials: BK7, Fused Silica

Size: 5mm – 100mm

Shift Distance: Customizable (based on prism dimensions)

Angle Tolerance: ±1′ ~ ±5′

Surface Quality: 40/20, 20/10

Coating: AR coating on input/output faces

Parallelism: High parallelism to maintain beam collimation

Applications:

Interferometers, optical delay lines, beam alignment systems, imaging systems, laser metrology.
